Dante 700© Massimo Sestini
The relationship between Dante and Florence, and the importance of this bond, revealed by Massimo Sestini. It’s testimony to how, even today, the poet is a character of the city, despite the fact that he has not been around for centuries. The work of the internationally renowned photojournalist, Massimo Sestini, was at the center of the exhibition that took place at the Quirinale last autumn and which kicked off the celebrations for the seventh centenary anniversary of the Supreme Poet’s death. Massimo Sestini is the first of a series of artists who over the coming months will detail the links between Dante and Tuscany.
